This Privacy Policy explains what information Formahand (“Formahand”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Formahand website and marketplace (the “Service”).

Formahand is the controller of the personal information described here. For payments, our payments provider (Stripe) acts as an independent controller of the payment data it processes.

By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information you provide:

• Account: your email address, and any name or profile details you add.
• Shop and listings (sellers): shop name, description, policies, images, and item details you publish.
• Orders and requests: shipping addresses, order and quote details, personalization instructions, and any reference images you upload.
• Messages: the content of messages, quotes, and contracts you exchange with other users.
• Support: information you send us when you contact support.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage and device data such as pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, and similar technical data, collected through cookies and analytics.
• Essential cookies that keep you signed in and secure your session.

Payment information: when you pay, your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. Formahand does not receive or store your full card number; we retain limited records such as amounts, currency, order references, and payment status.

We use personal information to:

• Provide and operate the Service, including accounts, listings, requests, quotes, orders, escrow, and payouts.
• Process payments and, for sellers, enable payouts through our payments provider.
• Send transactional messages such as sign-in codes and order updates.
• Keep the Service safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
• Understand and improve how the Service is used.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

With other users, as needed to complete a transaction. For example, to fulfill an order a seller receives the buyer’s shipping details and order information, and the parties in a conversation can see the messages, quotes, and reference images they exchange. Reviewer names are shown in a shortened form.

With service providers that process data on our behalf so we can operate the marketplace. These fall into categories including:

• Payment processing and seller payouts (our payments provider, Stripe).
• Email delivery, for transactional messages such as sign-in codes and order updates.
• Hosting, data storage, image storage, and security infrastructure.
• Product analytics, to understand and improve how the Service is used.

These providers may use your information only to perform services for Formahand under our instructions, and not for their own purposes.

For legal and safety reasons, when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Formahand, our users, or the public.

In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use essential cookies to sign you in and protect your session; these are required for the Service to work. We also use a product-analytics provider to understand usage and improve the Service.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or completing a purchase.

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and afterward as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and fraud-prevention obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Formahand is a global marketplace, and your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
